Friday Five: Kate Spade

Friends, this wedding thing is quite consuming. I had my first dress fitting last weekend and it went great! I was terrified I would hate my dress after not having seen it for a couple months. I clearly need to stop watching “Say Yes to the Dress” episodes. But, I still loved it, despite the fact that sitting down in the dress may or may not happen.

But before I went, I had to get shoes. I’d ordered a couple pairs from Zappo’s, but no dice. So, I decided I’d hit the mall and be prepared to spend whatever I needed to. Long story short, I couldn’t find a darn thing because stripper shoes rule the world and ended up ordering these sweet things from Zappo’s that are cuter in person, trust me.

One place my shoe journey took me was Kate Spade. I kind of want to be buried in their store. (When I’m dead, it won’t matter that my feet are too wide for their shoes.) Here’s a pic of their dressing room which I just loved, and coincidentally matched. I’ve looked at that zebra fabric (in navy) before and am still trying to find a place for that in our house.

And here are 5 things from their website that I think are the bee’s knees. It’s also worth it to check around their “Behind the Curtain” section for lots of bonus cuteness.

Have you seen any stores lately that have hit the nail on the head like Ms. Spade? (For bonus drool-worthy fun, check out Kate’s apartment, where the zebra wallpaper makes another appearance.)

I saw a pair I can’t get out of my mind. That’s all I’ll say since I don’t want someone to one-up me and steal them out from under me. :-)

I totally went to law school so I could buy all the Kate Spade I wanted…funny how that’s not really materializing now that I have a kid!

I AM OBSESSED WITH HER BANGLES. And I am trying to convince myself I should spend $300 and get as many as I can afford. I neeeeeeeed them.
