Just Browsing: Crate & Barrel

Holy Generous Friends and Family, Batman! This past weekend, Taylor, his mom Elaine, and I delved into the boxes of wedding gifts we’ve received. It was so exciting to break out all the new stuff! And while our cabinets are spankingly organized like so…

Our living room is bearing the brunt of it like so…

The recycling people are going to love our house tomorrow, lemme tell ya. I have 3 bags of bubble wrap alone.

Saturday we took a little jaunt to Crate & Barrel to return a couple of things that didn’t work out for us. (Like pasta bowls that are too big to fit in our cabinets! Obesity much?) And we couldn’t help but take a gander at all the pretty stuff in there. And so begins a new section of the blog: Just Browsing.

These are just a few of the pieces that caught our eye this weekend. What’s your favorite?

This coming weekend we get to celebrate someone else for a change! A baby shower for our friends Kiley and Jeff. Looking forward to all things blue.

We have a cake dome/punch bowl reversible thing from Williams-Sonoma and while it is multi-purpose, I still don’t use it terribly often. But it is nice to have when serving sangria or carrot cake to the masses.

I’m a fan of both of these table choices, althogh the French “Kitchen Island” looks less like what it’s named and more like a console/hall table.

    Gooooo Aspen dishware!

I’m voting for the French Kitchen Island. I was perusing the catalog yesterday and it jumped out at me. Would look great in ya’lls kitchen!!
