Sunshine and Sea
August 9, 2011
I’m not gonna lie. Re-entry to the real world has been a bit difficult. No lobster. No banana daiquiris. No belly laughs.
My tan is already fading under these florescent lights.
So, to tide (pun intended) myself over for another day, I thought it would be fitting to share 2 color boards I recently completed for a client(!).
Sunshine:
And Sea:
Besides a one-way ticket back to the Keys, which would you pick?

Love Sea. Sea all the way.
Cannot. Take. Non-Island. Life. (I was on a different island but feel the same ennui being back in our continental US of A).
Le sigh.
It is SO uncivilized. I mean, it’s TOO civilized. Glad you had a good time! Sorry it’s past tense.
Sunshine! Though I’d take either… sigh, #moodboardenvy
Sea for me. Granted, it’s also pretty much the color palette of my home at the moment.
Gotta go with sunshine. Maybe it’s just the name, all happy it is. Actually, no, it’s that I really love the yellow/grey combo. I’d vote for Behr’s Silver Drop as the paint—think I prefer its slight brownish hue over the cooler grey in the middle.
Martha, they picked your color!
I’d definitely in a (my) perfect world pick Sea, but I rent a house that I have no interest in painting and the pet hair would definitely show less on that color pallet. But then I woke up to navy and gold carpet, gold drapes, and brown microfiber man-furniture…sigh…oh to dream
Man furniture is the worst! Thankfully I didn’t inherit any of it. Gold drapes could be pretty fly with the right rest of the room, however.
