Remember when I was on a mission to procure a fabulous fall wardrobe? Well, I finally got around to it! And no fewer than three of the shirts/sweaters I bought are striped. And I had to stop myself from buying more. I was trying to justify it with the fact that some stripes I bought were wide, and some were narrow and some were evenly spaced and some were reversed out. See, look how COMPLETELY different they are and suit a variety of personalities.

But I stopped at three. And yesterday morning, when I put on the third striped sweater, I felt like I needed some inspiration as to how to wear it a bit differently. Pinterest to the rescue!

And we can’t let the clothes have all the fun.

Have you gone overboard for this nautical trend, too?

It’s kind of a requirement for all bloggers. I’ll never tire of stripes.

You bet your sweet bippy! I’m all over the stripe thing. I can’t stop! I now have 5 stripey tops all recently purchased. Then, to make it worse, I went back and bought a second of my favorite “just in case” and it’s even gone into my pajamas. I have a little problem. By the way, I love your moody chic blue paint in your bedroom. I’ve been trying to find the perfect shade for our spare bedroom and that could be it. Cheers!

So I fully endorse your fall mission and actually plagiarized your first post – went to American Apparel for those pullovers to go with my red jeans and just need the animal print flats! I love your stripe theme. I need to get more fun tops. Maybe we should hit Target or something this weekend to style each other. Or Madewell – they have really soft tops in fun fabrics?

Target might have the flats. Or DSW? How about dinner tomorrow? I’ll send you a proper email…
