In Bed

December 28, 2011
by thenestinggame

I’m not sure what happened, but a cold has run over me like a freaking mack truck and I have basically spent the past 4 days in bed. Well one of those days was spent in a Honda Accord, but still. I have gone through 2 boxes of Puffs Plus and am nursing a cocktail of Dayquil, Nyquil and Mucinex.

So, while I rest up, I thought I’d share some lovely bedrooms I wouldn’t mind being sick in.

Let’s hope I can kick this soon. This is no way to ring in 2012. Any home remedies I should try?

    Neti pot. Gross but effective.

Cocktail of Sudafed (two tablets) every four hours, Mucinex (one tablet) every two hours. Generics are fine. Use lots of saline nose spray whenever you blow your nose. Super hot. But this has actually worked for me.

And some Emergency-C/Airborne, while not scientifically proven, does give you a ton of vitamins.

    Feel better! :-/

Sorry you’re under the weather. Next time you feel a cold coming on try Umka, that stuff is magic! Big remedy in Europe but you should be able to get it at any health food store. For now, lots of rest, plenty of liquids, Advil for pain. These bedrooms were lovely though. Happy New Year. Feel better soon.

Hope you didn’t leave the germs here! Used lots of Lysol and did a ton of linen laundry – think all those little germs are dead! Feel better soon.
Happy New Year to one of my favorite daughters-in-law!
