February Baby Sprinkle
Have you heard of a sprinkle? It’s a baby shower for a Mom’s second (or third?) baby. It’s not an all-out, bust out the Diaper Genie and Boppy event, but a small get-together to welcome a new baby joining the gang.
My friend Jen is expecting her first girl next month, so our friend Kiley coordinated a lovely Sunday afternoon in the cutest little tea room in Roswell. It was in a restaurant in an old town square building and the room was sweet and sassy (not unlike Jen herself), decked out in pink and animal prints, plus a little sparkle.
Winter finally set in this weekend, so the menu of sweet treats and coffee was absolutely perfect.
Our group of friends has expanded with many growing bellies within the past year or so. I think someone calculated 8 babies within one year!
It was fun to see all the sweet pink gifts. I think Jen is excited for the influx of girl’s clothes. I hear it’s slim pickins in the boy’s section of Baby Gap. Well, compared to the girl’s side anyway.
I must say, this was the kind of shower I could get into. All cute clothes. No scary breast pump apparatuses in sight.
Baby Harper should be here soon to meet her new BFF Sarah Chase.
Now who wants the last cupcake?
See the spring baby shower we threw for Kiley.
I’d like to introduce you to Bundle Design. Christine Miller is a talented designer who used to work with me in the wonderful world of advertising. But when her own bundle Ben arrived, she switched gears and started her design business. She creates adorable invitations and announcements to introduce your babies to the world. I think I may know a few ladies who could use her services… You can find all of Christine’s sweet, modern designs on her Etsy shop, and a sneak peak below of a few of my faves.
