Friday Five: Garden Seats

Hi guys. Since my posts this week have all been somewhat plant-focused, I figure why not round it out with a garden-related Friday Five?

Here are some places I would not be opposed to plopping down this Spring.

This first bench is in my In-Laws’ gorgeous yard! Inspired by the Florida Botanical Gardens, Elaine picked up some purple spray paint and went to town on this traditional garden bench that belonged to her Mom. I love it! And geraniums are my fave.

This photo is linked to some very odd websites, so you may get spammed just by looking at it, but I thought it was so cool! I love the pots serving as the arms and sides and the modern lines of the bench. If you know the original source, please let me know.

This patio from Better Homes and Gardens features my dream deck furniture. I showed Taylor and his comment was “It looks expensive.” Probably, but I could maybe save us some money making my own pillows. You can’t really tell, but I imagine you can just waltz right out into that nice green grass.

You can’t get much more garden-y than an orange grove. This wedding reception designed by Amorology and shot by Jill Thomas is convincing me that we need to have an LP (that’s lower patio) dinner party at some point before it gets too stinkin’ hot. Via Style Files.

I am a SUCKER for pools surrounded by grass. There’s something so Euro about it. Or maybe Hamptons. All I know is I like it. From At Home in Arkansas via Cococozy.

The weather was so nice last night that I dragged a lawn chair up to the front porch and sat outside with a ginger ale and the latest issue of Southern Living, which sucked me in on the newsstand.

I love this time of year!

Now I want to get married just so I can have a sit-down dinner in an orange grove. Just as soon as I can find an orange grove here in the Northwest… :-) (I love this time of year, too.)
