Hello, how did you paint the lower part of the crib? What paint did you use? Thank you!

The crib came unassembled, so I painted it before I put it together. I took a piece of the crib to Home Depot and had them color match the exact shade of white. I believe I used an eggshell finish.

Did you have to sand the parts that you painted (before painting them)?

Just a light sanding – running over it with sandpaper to rough it up a bit.

    Hello,

I love what you did with the crib, what brand of paint did you use? Also, I love the dresser with the changing table, did you paint that as well? If so what brand is the dresser. Thanks so much.

    Very Respectfully,

    Satcey

Hi Stacey! Thanks for the nice compliments. I had the white crib rails color matched at Home Depot and used a primer (Kilz) and their Behr paint in a satin finish (I think). The dresser was my grandmother’s, probably purchased in the 50s or 60s. It was cream and gold and we did paint it – Hale Navy on the base and turquoise spray paint for the handles.
