Nest Tour: Boys’ Room

The Boys Room

Originally this room was an office/bedroom combo. But after two years of living with it that way, we realized we never used it for any office-ing whatsoever. So, I took the desk out and made it a 100% boys room.

The walls are painted Behr’s Dolphin Fin. It’s a very neutral gray that has slight yellow undertones. The white duvets and yellow table are from Ikea. The gray shams are mismatched, but the standard one is from West Elm and the Euro is a Nicole Miller for Bed, Bath and Beyond. The Pac Man pillows are from a local shop in Decatur, GA.

The campaign nightstands serve as a tv stand and part-time dresser/video game storage. The Zombies poster is from Kudzu Antiques, also in Decatur, GA. (There are lots of cool things in Decatur if you haven’t caught on yet.) I also relocated our color-coded bookshelf in here from the living room.

All play and no work. Now that’s more like it.

Great room…one of my boys would love to have this!! I especially like the idea of a bookcase as a night stand. Genius!

Renae, we got the zombies poster at Kudzu Antiques in Decatur, GA. I bet you could call them and ask about it. They were new (not antiques) and had a whole stack of ‘em!
