Nest Tour: Hallways
The Front Hall
This is the best “Before” I could scrounge up. The entire house–walls and ceilings were painted this shade of yellow.
We painted the hall Behr’s Sage Tint, and also painted the closet door and trim to avoid chopping up the tiny space.
Eventually, I switched out the oval mirror for a larger one I got at a consignment shop.
We painted the front door Martha Stewart’s Lagoon. The pediment above is from a Palm Springs antique store we went to on our honeymoon.
The Bienvenidos sign was a wedding gift and the blue door pic is from our engagement trip to Paris. Basically this is the entryway to our love.
We ripped up all the carpet in this part of the house before we moved in and had the floors refinished. Best idea ever.
We hung this big Moroccan mirror that belonged to my grandparents at the end of it. Recently, we realized that pretty much the color scheme of our entire house ties into this mirror. We coordinated the colors of the silhouettes from the mirror, and went from there.
And on the other side, we have a little gallery wall going. These frames were from our apartment, where they hung over the TV. They are permanently crooked and I need to start sticking my chewing gum behind them to get them to stay still. I have plans to do a larger photo wall.

Hi! I’ve been looking for a bien venidos sign like that everywhere but can’t find it! You wouldn’t happen to know where it was bought since it was a present would you? Thank you!
Hi Pedro! I believe the person had it made someplace like this:

Not sure it was that exact item, but it looks pretty similar to me.
Buena suerte!
Muchas Gracias! We were thinking of maybe doing a custom wood design also, but it gets spendy. I appreciate your response
